Joel Barry
Joel set up and grew one of the largest trade mark teams in the UK and has headed two of the largest IP teams in Europe. Running these practices through recessions fine tuned his project management, finance and cost management skills. Some may see his focus on efficiency and cost saving approach as ‘poacher turned game keeper’ but he sees barry.legal as a natural continuation of his philosophy while practicing as a solicitor.
Jane Bunch
Jane specialises in patent work and commercial transactions. She has worked at one of the top technology law firms and in-house for multi-national aeronautical and energy companies. Her experience in-house combined with her technical background gives her a unique understanding of her clients’ businesses and commercial drivers. She has particular expertise with start-ups, R&D and spin out arrangements.
Daniel Shier
Daniel practiced as a US attorney in New York before he cross qualified as a Solicitor in the UK. Daniel has spent his career introducing people and getting deals done. Garry MacBeth
Garry is an IP Portfolio manager who has worked for top multi-national solicitors’ firms and in-house for an international communications company. He is an expert in the practice and procedures of IP portfolios and records management. Gary offers IP portfolio reviews, process reviews and
implementation of IP database systems for a range of clients.
Luke Alexander
Luke’s background and training is as an actor. His experience makes him an excellent researcher and investigator; able to undertake pretext calls on target businesses and investigation subjects alike.
